FAQ
How to confirm the required motor power and tank volume for a hydraulic station?
Calculate based on cylinder thrust, rated working pressure, required flow rate and cylinder moving speed.
Confirm system working pressure (common specs: 4/7/14/16/21MPa);
Calculate pump displacement according to cylinder volume and reciprocating speed;
Match motor power with pump displacement and system pressure;
Standard tank capacity = 3~5 × pump’s per-minute flow; 5~8 × pump flow for long-duration continuous operation. Custom selection support available with equipment parameters provided.
What’s the maximum adjustable system pressure? Can pressure be adjusted on-site?
Pressure range is determined by relief valve specification: low pressure 0~7MPa, medium-high pressure 0~21MPa, high pressure 0~21MPa. Fine-tuning is allowed on-site within the rated pressure of pump, valve block and tubing. Replacing pump, seals and valves is mandatory if upgrading beyond original design pressure.
Vertical or horizontal hydraulic unit, which to choose?
Horizontal type: low height for limited vertical space with larger floor footprint. Vertical type saves floor space with motor mounted above oil tank, ideal for dusty & humid sites to keep motor away from oil.
Is non-standard customized hydraulic power unit available?
Customization is supported: modified tank size, air/oil cooler, solenoid valve stack, accumulator, pressure transducer, digital pressure gauge, explosion-proof or variable-frequency motor for automatic machinery and pressing equipment.
